Six nights to the zoning hearing — and day six of the hidden meeting

Six nights from tonight, the City Council holds its public hearing on the D-MX / UR-HD rezoning — Tue Oct 27, 6:30 PM, City Hall Chambers, agenda Final, with the hearing notice now carrying file number TMP-0866 on the docket beside the rezoning ordinance TMP-0811. The 7:00 PM stated meeting the same night is still a ghost — day six of “Draft” with nothing posted, its calendar details link still grayed out “Not viewable by the public.” Meanwhile Saturday is the last day to register to vote, same-day registration at early-voting sites is the backstop, and a free breast-cancer awareness walk joins the Saturday calendar.

The hearing is Final and numbered — the meeting after it is still a ghost

Oct 27, 6:30 PM: the D-MX / UR-HD rezoning hearing — and the notice is now TMP-0866 verified

The council’s public hearing on the rezoning ordinance opens at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, October 27 in City Hall – City Council Chambers, 4th Floor. Re-pulled this morning: the agenda is still Final and published, and the docket now shows the hearing-notice line carrying file # TMP-0866 — “Public Hearing Notice – GO AMENDING CHAPTER 43 – DMX Zoning” (that file number exactly as the record lists it) — beside TMP-0811, the general ordinance the hearing advertises. TMP-0811 amends General Ordinance 4-2000, Chapter 43 — the city’s Zoning Ordinance — and the accompanying zoning map “to reclassify and rezone certain properties to D-MX or UR-HD district,” and amends the ordinance’s four map attachments (13: Map A, Key Streets; 14: Map B, Heights District; 15: Map C, Additional Sidewalk Width Requirement; 16: Map D, Districts) to include the rezoned properties. The record tags it “(NO FISCAL IMPACT.) (ALL COUNCILMEMBERS.)” If you own property, live near, or do business on any of the affected parcels, this hearing is where the public record gets made — public comment happens at the hearing itself.

The 7:00 PM stated meeting, day six: still Draft, still hidden verified

The other Oct 27 event remains a ghost. The stated meeting’s detail page (the one we’ve pulled since Friday) still reads “Agenda status: Draft”, “Published agenda: Not available”, “Agenda packet: Not available” — no items, and the date field shows 10/27/2026 with no time. The calendar row still carries 7:00 PM, City Hall – City Council Chambers 4th Floor, with its details link still grayed and flagged “Not viewable by the public” — the same flag since the Oct 16 check. The record shows no cancellation: the row and the Draft page both still list the meeting. But six days out, a stated meeting with no posted agenda is the story. We’ll keep pulling it every morning until it posts.

Oct 13 minutes still Draft; all eleven docket files still “Referred” — and the record changed where it says the council met verified

Eight days after the fact, the Oct 13 stated meeting still shows Minutes status: Draft, and every file on its 11-item docket still reads “Referred” in this morning’s legislation pull — sent to committee, not passed. The docket, unchanged: the P.S. 9 conveyance local law; four grant acceptances totaling $1,812,576.01 (Field Hall Foundation $30,000; state CHIPS $202,648.00; federal ESG $285,304.00; federal HOME $1,294,624.01); the $20,000 Santos/Aponte settlement; the AI-in-elementary-schools resolution urging restrictions on student AI use; the Italian Heritage/Columbus Day declaration; a Commissioner of Deeds item; the three new IT positions budget amendment; and the Greenburgh police-and-fire training-center agreement, referred Oct 6. Two fields did move, oddly in opposite directions: the meeting’s location now reads “One Larkin Center – Board Room, 4th Fl, Yonkers, NY 10701” — yesterday’s pull of the same page read “Saunders Trades and Technical High School – Auditorium” — and the calendar grid’s own details link for this meeting returns HTTP 410, “Gone”, a dead end where a meeting record should be. The record flipped its own location field between pulls and now serves a dead link for the same meeting; we print today’s values and note both changes. The newest action date anywhere in the recent-legislation pull is still Oct 13. Nothing else has moved.
