The 7 o’clock is back — but you can’t see its paperwork

Day three of the Oct 27 saga: after vanishing yesterday, the 7:00 PM stated meeting is back on the council’s calendar this morning — but the row’s “Meeting details” link is grayed out, titled “Not viewable by the public,” and no agenda is posted. The events feed still lists only the 6:30 PM zoning hearing (agenda Final, a two-item docket). The Oct 13 paper trail is frozen: minutes still Draft, all eleven docket files still “Referred.” And it’s 16 days to Election Day: registration closes this Saturday, Oct 24.

Oct 27, day three: listed, gone, back

The stated meeting returns to the calendar — with its paperwork locked verified

The Oct 27 rollercoaster continues. Friday the calendar showed two Oct 27 events; yesterday morning the 7:00 PM stated meeting was gone; this morning it is back. The relisted row reads: City Council of Yonkers Stated Meeting — 10/27/2026 — 7:00 PM — City Hall – City Council Chambers 4th Floor. But nothing about it is public yet: the row’s “Meeting details” link is grayed out and carries the label “Not viewable by the public,” and both agenda columns read “Not available” — no agenda, no packet, no item list. The automated events feed hasn’t caught up either: this morning’s pull still lists only the 6:30 PM hearing as the council’s upcoming event, and shows nothing after Oct 27 anywhere in the feed — while the same feed’s history shows the council met on Nov 12 and Nov 25 of last year. Treat the doubleheader as back on the board, pending paperwork — we’ll keep checking daily.

The 6:30 hearing is steady: agenda Final, a two-item docket verified

Unchanged and fully public: the Oct 27 public hearing at 6:30 PM in City Hall Chambers (4th Floor) holds its agenda status: Final, with a published agenda and agenda packet. Two items are listed. The first, TMP-0866, is the hearing notice itself — “Public Hearing Notice - GO AMENDING CHAPTER 43 - DMX Zoning.” The second, TMP-0811, is the general ordinance amending the city’s Zoning Ordinance (General Ordinance 4-2000, Chapter 43) and the accompanying zoning map — to “reclassify and rezone certain properties to D-MX or UR-HD district” — and amending the four map attachments (13–16) of Chapter 43. That is the whole docket: 2 records. Public comment happens at the hearing itself — that’s what a public hearing is for.

Oct 13, day five: minutes still Draft, eleven docket files still “Referred” verified

Five days after the meeting, the Oct 13 stated meeting’s paper trail still reads like Tuesday morning: Legistar shows Minutes status: Draft, Published minutes: Not available, and its 11 agenda items listed. This morning’s legislation pull shows the same picture: every file on the Oct 13 docket still carries status “Referred” — the P.S. 9 conveyance local law; the four grant ordinances (Field Hall Foundation $30,000, state CHIPS $202,648.00, federal ESG $285,304.00, federal HOME $1,294,624.01); the $20,000 Santos/Aponte settlement; the AI-in-elementary-schools resolution; the Italian Heritage/Columbus Day declaration; the Commissioner of Deeds item; and the three-position IT budget amendment — plus the eleventh file, the Greenburgh training-center agreement, referred Oct 6. The newest action date anywhere in the recent-record pull is Oct 13. “Referred” means sent to committee, not passed.
