Sunday morning pull: still nothing newer than Sept 29 verified
This morning’s pull of the city’s legislation file shows no action anywhere newer than Sept 29 — that remains the newest action date across all 53 matters. The twelve matters filed at the Sept 29 stated meeting (TMP-0834 through TMP-0845) all still read “Referred,” and the meeting’s minutes are still marked Draft on Legistar as of this morning. The fall stack reads the same: P.S. 9 conveyance (TMP-0813) still Tabled, the noise-code amendment (TMP-0787, Chapter 66 § 66-5) still “Agenda Ready — Items for Consideration — Council.” The next stated meeting is Tuesday, Oct 13, 7 PM, Council Chambers, City Hall, 40 South Broadway, with a second stated meeting Oct 27.
The $10M downtown-waterfront plan opens its public schedule Oct 26 verified
The freshest thing on any official calendar this morning: the library has posted the full meeting schedule for the Downtown Revitalization Initiative’s Local Planning Committee — the state program where, in the library’s words, “Yonkers put its waterfront forward and was awarded $10 million” and is now “beginning a community-led planning and project identification process before breaking ground.” The committee writes the Strategic Investment Plan and evaluates which projects get the grants. Four evening sessions are on the books, all 5:30–7 PM in the Riverfront Community Room (2nd Floor), One Larkin Center: Monday, Oct 26, Monday, Nov 30, Monday, Jan 25, 2027 and Monday, Feb 22, 2027. Every session is open to the public, with public comment at the end. Background and project documents: yonkersdri.com.
