Stated meetings Oct 13 and Oct 27, back at 40 South Broadway verified
Yesterday the city calendar had nothing after September; this morning it carries the full October slate. The City Council stated meetings are Tuesday, Oct 13 and Tuesday, Oct 27, 7:00 PM, in the City Council Chambers, 4th Floor, City Hall, 40 South Broadway — the council’s regular home after both September sessions ran at the Saunders auditorium. Also now on the board: City Hall is closed Monday, Oct 12 for Columbus Day; the Board of Contract & Supply meets Oct 6 and Oct 20 (3 PM); the Landmarks Preservation Board meets Oct 7 (7 PM); the Parks Board Oct 13 (7 PM); and the Planning Board Oct 14 (5:30 PM). One caveat: Legistar’s own calendar page hasn’t caught up — it still shows nothing after Sept 29 as of this morning’s check, so the city calendar is the place to watch until the agendas drop there.
P.S. 9 “Tabled”, permanent numbers landing, and Sept 29 still pending verified
Two moves in this morning’s legislation pull. First: the local law authorizing the conveyance of the former Public School #9 for redevelopment — one of the fall’s headline items — now reads “Tabled” in the city’s legislation file, where it read “Referred” as of yesterday’s check. Tabled means the council laid it aside rather than voting it up or down; nothing in the record yet says why or what’s next. Second: the clerk’s office has been converting the Sept 15 batch from temporary file numbers to permanent ones — SO.40 through SO.47, RES.133–135, LL.9-2026, GO.9-2026 and GO.10-2026 now carry their formal designations, all still marked Referred, alongside the $3,321,809.25 petroleum-spill settlement (still TMP-0791, still Referred). The noise-code amendment (Chapter 66, § 66-5) still reads “Agenda Ready — Items for Consideration — Council” — the queue for a future stated meeting. As for Tuesday’s Sept 29 session: no change — all twelve matters filed that night still read Referred, the minutes remain Draft with the record showing actions “Not available,” and Legistar lists no video. One wrinkle: the city’s meeting-video vendor archive now lists entries for both Sept 29 sessions — the public hearing and the council meeting — added Sept 30, so recordings look close.
