Expect violin, theorbo, and viola da gamba: Corelli's Op. 5 sonatas, Matteis's Ayres, and chaconnes by Capricornus, Falconieri, and Marin Marais. Tickets are $35 plus fees via Eventbrite; the concert runs with no intermission.

Planetarium shows run all day β Little Skywatchers at 11:30, Magic Tree House: Space Mission at 12:30, The Sky Tonight at 2, and We Are Astronomers at 3:30. News 12 reported this weekend that nearly 900 Westchester families have enrolled in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, which mails a free book every month to children from birth to age 5. Yonkers families can check eligibility and sign up at imaginationlibrary.com β and remember, the Riverfront Library's Children's Department is also giving away free books all summer (anything with a "Free Book" sticker is yours to keep).
A heads-up for families: YPL branches have been closed Sundays this summer, and the full schedule β including bilingual storytime, the Sensory Cart at Will, and Tech Central gaming at Riverfront β kicks back in with the school year. Tomorrow's lineup is already posted (see events below).
The spotlight slot in every issue goes to one Yonkers business β a Crestwood bakery, a Getty Square barber, a Nod Hill gym. The first one is free to an early reader. Reply SPOTLIGHT to this email and tell us what you love about your business.
