The Oct 13 minutes are in — unanimous, and all of twelve minutes long

Yesterday at 2:06 PM — after our morning issue, before this one — Legistar marked the Oct 13 meeting’s minutes “Final”: all seven council members present, eleven adoptions, no recorded dissent, twelve minutes gavel to gavel. The city’s video archive filled in the same stretch: six October meetings now watchable, the Oct 13 session among them. It’s day six of nine of early voting — noon to 8 tonight.

The record’s last word on the fall’s biggest docket

Seven present, eleven unanimous votes, twelve minutes verified

Yesterday afternoon the Oct 13 stated meeting’s minutes went Final on Legistar — the record’s own timestamp reads 2:06 PM, Oct 28 (EventMinutesLastPublishedUTC 2026-10-28T18:06:36Z) — landing between yesterday morning’s Issue #043 and this morning’s check. Legistar files them as a ten-page “Annotated Agenda,” status Final, and they close the book on the two-week docket story: the eleven permanent-numbered adoptions we reported yesterday are all there, each with its roll call.

Every vote block reads the same: the full council in the aye column — no nays and no absences recorded on any of the eleven. Roll call that night: Council President Lakisha Collins-Bellamy; Majority Leader John Rubbo (District 4); Majority Whip Deana R. Norman (District 1); Minority Leader Michael B. Breen (District 5); and Council Members Corazon Pineda Isaac (District 2), Tasha Diaz (District 3) and Tim Hodges (District 6). After roll call and the Pledge: the Sept 29 stated meeting’s minutes, approved by motion of Minority Leader Breen. Then the eleven, headlined by the AI-in-schools resolution (RES.171-2026) and the former PS #9 sale (LL.10-2026), each carried by the same unanimous block. The whole night: started 7:08 PM, adjourned 7:20 PM.

Yesterday’s Legistar tally showed outcomes; the minutes show the votes behind them. The ledger now rests exactly one meeting behind: Tuesday night’s Oct 27 minutes still read “Draft” with no file posted, and nothing sits on the council calendar past Oct 27 — this morning’s events feed and the InSite calendar both show nothing after it, and the standing second-and-fourth-Tuesday rhythm’s Nov 10 and Nov 24 dates are not posted yet. When they are, they’ll land on our Government page first.
